Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 247workplace.com and the 247workplace app (together, "247workplace"), operated in Ghana. By creating an account or using 247workplace, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What 247workplace is

247workplace is a marketplace that connects "seekers" (people looking for a service, product, event or institution) with "providers" (verified businesses, tradespeople, institutions and organisations) across Ghana. 247workplace is the platform connecting the two sides — we are not a party to the agreement a seeker and provider make with each other, and we don't employ providers or guarantee the outcome of any job, sale or service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• You must be legally able to hold the government-issued ID you provide at registration, and the information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at hello@247workplace.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
• We verify identity documents before a provider account goes live on the marketplace. We may suspend or remove any account that provides false information, fails verification, or violates these Terms.

3. Using 247workplace as a seeker

You can browse verified providers near you, message them directly, or post a service request for providers to quote on. You're responsible for reviewing a provider's profile, reviews and quote before engaging them, and for agreeing payment and delivery terms directly with the provider. Reviews you leave must be honest and based on your own experience.

4. Using 247workplace as a provider

• Your listing (business details, services, locations, pricing, portfolio) must be accurate and belong to you or a business you're authorised to represent.
• You're responsible for delivering the services or products you list, honouring quotes you give, and complying with any licensing or regulatory requirements that apply to your trade in Ghana.
• We may review, request changes to, or reject a listing or branch update that appears inaccurate, misleading, or unsafe.

5. Payments

Payment for a job, product or service is arranged directly between the seeker and the provider, by whichever method they agree (cash, mobile money, or card). 247workplace lets providers keep a record of these payments (invoices and transactions) inside the platform, but 247workplace does not hold your funds or act as a payment processor. You're responsible for any dispute over payment or the quality of a service, directly with the other party.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false identity, business, or payment information.
• Use 247workplace for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to harass, threaten, or discriminate against another user.
• Attempt to bypass our security, scrape data, or interfere with the normal operation of the platform.
• Post content (photos, descriptions, messages, reviews) that's false, defamatory, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.

Violating these Terms may lead to content removal, suspension, or permanent termination of your account.

7. Content you provide

You keep ownership of the content you upload (photos, descriptions, reviews, messages), but you give 247workplace a licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace — e.g. showing your portfolio or business listing to seekers searching nearby.

8. Disclaimers

247workplace verifies identity documents at registration, but we don't guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service or product offered by a provider, or the conduct of any seeker. You use the platform, and engage with other users, at your own judgment and risk. 247workplace is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law, 247workplace is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from a transaction, dispute, or interaction between a seeker and a provider. Our total liability for any claim relating to 247workplace is limited to the greater of GHS 100 or the fees you've paid us directly in the preceding 12 months (currently, 247workplace does not charge seekers or providers a platform fee).

10. Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how, and what's kept. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as 247workplace changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes, we'll let you know by email or an in-app notice. Continuing to use 247workplace after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
